JCCA's Mental Health and Preventive Services programs stabilize and strengthen families in crisis. With help, many families can resolve immediate problems and keep children safely at home. Programs offer rapid assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment to assist families at critical points. JCCA provides collaborative outreach on clients' behalf to schools, courts, and community services. Referrals welcome from schools, public and private agencies, individuals, and managed care providers. Programs serve various Brooklyn neighborhoods; general preventive services also offered in the Highbridge and Mott Haven neighborhoods of the South Bronx.
